What Is Reindeer Meat?
Reindeer meat comes from the herded wild reindeers of Sweden.
Seen as a healthy alternative to farmed meat products, venison (game meat) is low in fat and high in protein with lots of vitamin B, iron, potassium and phosphorus (for teeth and bones).
This meat is perfect for “Slow Food” concept, though dried reindeer meat has been historically considered by Lappish people as “fast food” with high nutrition level and low fat level.

Packing
With exception of whole/half carcasses and dried products all meat products are packed in plastic with vacuum packing. Upon request from customer it is possible to do vacuum packing of reindeer half carcasses as well.
The gourmet small packages of frozen tender file, skav, suovas are first packed in vacuum and then in colorful carton.
With deliveries of whole/half carcasses it is possible to do cutting according to the customer’s instructions.
Customer’s requests in regard of package's view and weight can be reviewed and discussed.
With bigger weight packages (more than 2 kg) of frozen meat it is possible to pack the product in plastic bag and in layers with separating each layer for more convenient usage (in restaurants for example).
The labels can be printed in English. If other language (with Latin alphabet) is desired, please send us the text. If labels should be with other than Latin alphabet letters, please contact us.

Please pay attention that
all smoked products could be frozen

smoked products by freezing them.
Dried products – from 60 days (lightly smoked products) up to 2 years (dried reindeer meat) depending on the product.
Depending on destination. Please keep in mind that all meat products are produced from game meat, not farm meat, meaning that we need from 2 up to 4 weeks (depending on delivery volume) from your order to prepare the delivery. Please contact
us for more details.
Certain products of game meat (moose for example) could be limited in volume depending on this year hunting season. Please contact us for more details.
Delivery Volume
Delivery volume is up to 20-40 tons per month. Possible increase of delivery volume can be discussed in the future.
Does reindeer/moose meat require any special type of cooking?
No. You can cook both reindeer and moose meat exactly as you do your own favorite meal from beef, pork or lamb meat.
